Continuemakingminortrimadjustmentsuntilthemachinehoversatalowaltitudewithverylittledriftingand
directionalcontrolinput.IfthemQXisyourrstQuad-Copter-typemodel,seekthehelpofanexperiencedpilotto
trimthemodelforyoubeforemakingyourrstight.
• WithyourmQXproperlytrimmedandmaintainingastablelow-levelhover,practiceusingtherudder,elevator
andaileroncontrolstofamiliarizeyourselfwiththemachine’sresponsestocontrolinputs.Remembertokeep
thecontrolinputsasminimalaspossible.
• Whencomfortablewithlow-levelhovering,youcantransitiontohoveringandyingthemQXathigheralti-
tudesofthreetofourfeet.Atthesehigheraltitudes,youwillbecomecomfortablewiththeightcharacteris-
ticsoftheaircraft.
• Don’tbeafraidtosetthemQXdownonthegroundquicklybyloweringthethrottlewhenapproachingwalls
orotherobstaclestohelppreventpropellerstrikes.
